ClamAV Commands
Install Brew:
/usr/bin/ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)"
Install ClamAV (macOS):
brew install clamav
sudo mkdir /usr/local/sbin
sudo chown -R `whoami`:admin /usr/local/sbin brew link clamav
cd /usr/local/etc/clamav/
cp freshclam.conf.sample freshclam.conf
sed -ie 's/^Example/#Example/g' freshclam.conf
Update and Scan (macOS):
freshclam -v
clamscan -r -i /
clamscan -i -r --remove=yes /
Install ClamAV (Ubuntu):
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt install clamav clamav-daemon
Update (Ubuntu):
sudo systemctl stop clamav-freshclam
sudo freshclam
sudo systemctl start clamav-freshclam
Scan (Ubuntu):
clamscan -r -i /
clamscan -i -r --remove=yes /
